Although the taste of the dish was good however the portions wasn’t really satisfying, it was mostly filled with potatoes as you can see on the images. The cleanness and atmosphere of the venues is spectacular.

This is top tier food. Wait staff super knowledgeable but not overbearing. It's a cosy setting and you really get a sense of pride and craftsmanship. Classic food combinations like the scallops and cauliflower had such a great execution and a few nice twists too like the smoked prawns were just delightful. 5 stars are too readily given out when you get places like this who go the extra mile. Also the rhubarb tart is a great way to finish of a great eating experience, sharp rich and a subtle little funk.

WOW!! We are visiting for the weekend and knew we had to visit Angela's. With our expectations high, we were still blown away!! The mackerel with kohlrabi and scallops were AMAZING, apple cider sorbet FANTASTIC, and every drink - wine, soft, and coffee - was a delight. Not only was the food and drink incredibly fresh, delicious, high quality, perfectly prepared and creatively devised - the service was BEYOND 10/10. We felt so at home and welcomed. We came in 30 Nov @ 2.30pm - a very special shout out to both waiters who served our table and the chefs, for being incredibly accommodating of a gluten dairy intolerance - altering the dishes we ordered, explaining super clearly the menu and allergens, and the chefs even going the extra mile to serve us a delicious dessert. I have never been accommodated for intolerance so kindly, professionally, and gracefully - this was just truly fantastic. We will be back!!!!

Food - out of this world. As a table next to us said “Dream food” and I agree with this statement! Service- outsourcing. Server was welcoming, knowledgeable, extremely helpful but not interfering. Visiting Margate this place is must to go and reservation recommended. We were lucky to get a table. Can tell this place is very popular and I myself will definitely going to come back.

Absolutely delicious lunch! Menu is completely bespoke, written on the blackboard on the wall. Tiny place full of charm, top service and the attention to details was just fab. Have a try of their tasty English wines as they're only getting better the older the vines become. Must book ahead, so don't delay!

If there’s one thing worse than a big restaurant, it’s a big restaurant that thinks it’s small. You know the ones – open kitchen clatter, faux-distressed brick, a fig tree potted in a bin, and a menu longer than War and Peace rewritten by Jamie Oliver on coke. That’s not a dining room; it’s a cry for help. Angela’s in Margate is the antithesis. It’s little. Properly little. Not “intimate” or “bijou” – it’s just... small. Like someone’s front room, if someone’s front room had a daily chalkboard menu, impeccable fish, and staff who talk to you like they want to befriend you, not upsell you. The menu – God bless it – is written in chalk. Because that’s all you need when you know what you’re doing. There’s no burger section. There’s no QR code. There’s no meat. There’s just fish. Wonderful, fresh, honest, beautifully prepared fish, with vegetables that taste like they’ve never seen the inside of a supermarket. And crucially, there’s no clutter. No lavender-scented wankery, no statue of a Tuscan shepherd boy peeking from behind a yucca. Just clean walls, clean tables, and a dining room full of people who want to be there. Not because it’s been algorithmically recommended by some faceless app, but because it’s good. And word gets around. Our waitress (who I’d follow into battle) recommended half the menu, casually, sincerely, like she’d eaten it all for lunch and was still thinking about it. We listened. We changed our orders. She was right. It was glorious. A gurnard dish so delicate it could have written poetry. Angela’s knows what it is. A fish restaurant. A neighbourhood restaurant. A lovely, living, local place run by people who care. It exists because it should, not because someone needed a return on investment. If I lived in Margate, I’d eat here every week. Possibly every day. I’d bring people I love here. I’d bring people I hate here, just to show them what they’re missing. Angela’s is the real deal. And in a world of noise, it sings.

Went here a couple of years ago and forgot to review. Food was genuinely amazing - really loved the creativity of the monkfish chorizo! Oysters were top notch.
